I got to spend last Sunday afternoon with this lovely family.  It fills me up with so much joy when I walk away from a shoot feeling like I have witnessed so much love, that I was able to capture some beautiful bits of that love photographically, and that I have made new friends!!!

The world lost a really cool lady this past thursday, and our dear dear friend, Steph, lost her Momma after an exhausting battle with cancer.

I just want to put it out there in the universe that we are sending you love and peace for your new journey, Carolyn, and also to the entire Bulkin family.

Dear 2008,

ready or not here you are!  and by golly, i welcome you with open arms.  come here and hug me you new year you!  it boggles the mind how you, time, truly do move faster and faster the older i get.  very tricky.  i can't help but love you because however false my perceptions may be, you do symbolize a new beginning and a new chance to make it "the best year yet!"
